Privacy policy
This policy explains how suhaco.cl handles the personal data of people who visit the site and contact us about a project. It is governed by Chilean Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life and is prepared for Law No. 21,719 on Personal Data Protection.
Version 1.0 · Effective October 30, 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is Harold Suarez La Coba, based in Chile, operating under the trade name Suhaco at suhaco.cl (“suhaco.cl”, “we” or “us”).
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email suhaco19@gmail.com or use our contact form.
2. Data we collect
We only collect what each purpose requires. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- When you use the form: name, email address, project type, your message and, if you provide it, your current website.
- When you use the project assistant: the options you choose. They stay in your browser until you decide to continue on WhatsApp.
- When you contact us by WhatsApp or email: your number or address and the conversation.
- When you browse: technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, which the host logs to run and protect the site. Browser storage is detailed in our Cookie policy.
We do not request sensitive data (such as health, ethnic origin, beliefs or sexual orientation) and do not need it to quote a project. Please do not include passwords, identity documents or banking details in your messages.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry, clarify your needs and prepare a proposal | Contact and project details | Pre-contractual steps you requested |
| Confirm that we received your message | Name and email | Pre-contractual steps you requested |
| Deliver and coordinate a contracted project | Contact and project details | Performance of the contract |
| Protect the site and prevent spam and form abuse | Technical data and IP | Legitimate interest in site security |
We do not use your data for advertising or add you to mailing lists.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that process it on our behalf, or with authorities when the law requires it:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosting the site and the form | United States |
| Resend | Delivering form messages and the confirmation | United States |
| Google (Gmail) | Receiving and answering enquiries | United States and other countries |
| Meta (WhatsApp) | Support on WhatsApp, only if you choose that channel | United States and Ireland |
| Authorities and courts | Legal obligations or court orders | Chile |
5. International transfers
The providers above store or process data outside Chile. We choose providers that offer adequate safeguards, such as data protection contractual clauses, in line with applicable law.
6. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not become a project: up to 24 months after the last interaction.
- Contracted projects: for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by tax law.
- Drafts in your browser: until you submit the form, clear them or close the tab, as applicable.
- Technical logs: according to the hosting provider’s retention periods.
After that, we delete or anonymize the data.
7. How we protect your data
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), security headers that restrict what the site can load, checks on the origin, size and format of each request, a submission limit per email and per connection, an automation detection field, and access to enquiries restricted to the person who answers them. If a security incident affects your data, we will notify it as required by law.
8. Your rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time, free of charge:
- Access: know what data we hold about you, why, and who we share it with.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed or you withdraw consent, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Objection: object to certain processing.
- Portability: receive your data in a commonly used electronic format, where applicable.
- Blocking: request a temporary suspension of processing while a request is resolved.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects on you. The project assistant is a step-by-step guide; it does not decide anything for you.
How to exercise them. Email suhaco19@gmail.com with your name, the right you want to exercise and a way to reply to you. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will reply within 30 calendar days, which may be extended once by the same period when necessary, telling you why.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Chilean Personal Data Protection Agency once it begins operating under Law No. 21,719, or to the competent courts under Law No. 19,628.
9. Children
Our site is aimed at businesses and professionals, not at children under 14. If you are under 14, do not send us data without the authorization of your parent or legal guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. We will publish the current version here with its date and, if the change is significant, show a visible notice on the site.
